I was converting 3 bfp4f vehicles in the tutorial of seaside skirmish. A lot of things work, but some not. There are fails, i know and maby you find some fails. but i stop with this mod sad

Known fails (with no solutions)
1. Some textures of the LAV25 [kind of tank] and the HMMWV [jeep] are missing
2. There are no 'good' explosions by all vehicles
3. If you change the driver seat of the LAV25 and the HMMWV you don't see the 'good' textures inside the vehicle
4. by the all three the vehicles you don't see a shot symbol which you focus
5. you don't see shots and bombs by the HMMWV and the F35B [jet]

Have you solutions tell them to me biggrin so i can maby make a new version of it

Things you need to know
-You 'll see next update a lot of LAV25's if you play the tutorial. But the normal Tut vehicles [tanks with 40 damage] i have make a little bit the same
with the LAV25 so you have a LAV25 with 250 damage and normal you have 600.

Things i want in the final version
-Other textures so you can see the first texture is for national and the second is for royal [I am working on it. I'll convert other vehicles too)
- No bugs/fails
-A video of it smile [how to install]
-Hopefully a place on this site [By mods]

pictures coming soon

Download link v1 : Bfh mod V1.0 By goosert
Download link v2: bp4f vehicles into bfh v2

2. new plane for nationals

Anyway thanks!

Thank god, that EASY is still using the same engine i guess, making modders do less work.
Nice work on the converting.

Moved to Battlefield Heroes moding.

Cockpit views use separate textures in most instances, so you need to find and port them as well. Weapons not seeming to fire properly is most likely due to missing projectile templates. Hunt down the missing projectile coding and port those as well. wink

I'm not quite sure what you mean by not seeing "shot symbol"...Crosshair? Some vehicles may have custom HUD coding in the menu files. You need to port those as well if BFH does not have a HUD set up for the GUI index the vehicle uses. You could also just change the GUI index of the offending vehicles to something that already exists in BFH if you can't find the HUD info for the original vehicle.

Sorry I can't take time to work with the files. My full time job takes a good chunk out of my computer time and thus don't have a whole lot of time to mod anymore. sad
